What we use

This site uses a small amount of local storage and, at most, strictly necessary technical cookies. Their only job is to remember minor things so the site behaves, for example that you have already dismissed the small notice at the bottom of the screen. These are set on your own device by the site itself.

Web push notifications

We use OneSignal to offer browser push notifications. When you choose to turn them on, OneSignal sets its own storage and a service worker in your browser and creates a subscription token so we can send you notices. This happens only after you give express opt-in through your browser's own permission prompt, and it means a limited amount of profiling takes place to manage your subscription. OneSignal is a service provider based in the United States, so this data is transferred and processed outside Canada. You can withdraw at any time by disabling notifications for this site in your browser settings. For more, see our privacy policy.

What we do not use

• No analytics or measurement cookies.
• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No social-media third-party tracking cookies.

The strictly necessary technical items are required for the site to work and do not need consent under Quebec's Law 25. Web push notifications are different: they run only with your express opt-in, and you can turn them off at any time.

Managing them

You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. If you clear them, the small notice at the bottom of the site may appear again on your next visit, which is the notice doing its job.
